What is Lego Therapy
Developed by Daniel B. LeGoff, Lego-Based Therapy is a social development programme which provides effective intervention for Neuro Divergent tamariki.
Through the work I have done I have noticed the following positive results:
- Happier tamariki – filling their cup
- Greater connected to peers and adults
- Less explosive in class – transferable communication skills have developed
- Improved fine motor skills – any increase in skill reduces frustration
- Better problem solving – communication skills
- Better at sharing and turn taking
- Improved vocabulary

- Purchasing and assembling a full working Lego Therapy kit
- Support to source and apply for funding to purchase the kit
- On going support / coaching to ensure smooth continued running of the group throughout the year
