The Safe and Sound Protocol
What is The Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP)
The Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) is a passive listening therapy based on the Polyvagal Theory. Designed by Dr Stephen Porges and backed by years of research.
5 Hours of specially filtrated music which work on increasing the strength of your ossicles.
The Ossicles are responsible for being able to tune out background noise and amplifying sound to get through the liquid filled cochlea. Both functions especially important for Neuro Divergent tamariki who rely on the human voice for coregulation even more so than Neuro typical tamariki.
How the Safe & Sound Protocol can help
Feel Better
Improved response to stress
Think Better
Improved access to prefrontal cortex
Connect Better
Better able to develop social connections
Who could benefit from it?
While I specialise in supporting Neuro Divergent tamariki, the Safe and Sound Protocol is suitable for many people of any age. Through extensive research the Safe and Sound Protocol has demonstrated benefits for individuals with trauma, anxiety, sensory processing differences, and much more.
Aside from my own tamariki I have supported more than 60 individuals through the Safe and Sound Protocol, their results blow me away.
